What makes our generators different?
Modular
At CGEN we design, manufacture and supply modular stackable generator systems. The modular architecture of the generators allows for efficient, flexible, and scalable manufacture. Whilst vastly reducing the associated deployment cost of installation, shipping, operation and long term maintenance costs.
Versatile
Our system can work in a vast range of configurations making it suitable for a range of environments and compatible with multiple technologies. They are suitable for low-speed, high-torque applications within wave, tidal, fixed wind and floating wind applications.
Scalable
Our modular design allows for minimal variation in module size across different power ratings. The design extends to other innovations, such as modular power electronics and advanced control systems, which allows the machine to be reconfigured to adapt to varying loads and conditions.
Durable
CGEN's modular electro-magnetic drivetrain is durable due to its high reliability, overload capability, and redundancy. Its design allows for continued operation during faults, with only the affected modle needing replacement. CGEN generators have protection against harsh conditions and are suited for various renewable energy applications. The design reduces downtime by continuing operation during faults and replacing only the faulty module, not the entire machine.
